• To develop a theoretical and practical base of knowledge related with requirements of assigned design work, at each phase and stage of design development that they are involved in.
• To apply the practical design skills to execute engineering projects or services, in the drafting phases. The on-the job training and skill development will be achieved under the guidance of a supervisor.
𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂:
Are a final year undergraduate student or a recent graduate in Engineering Have basic knowledge of CAD/CAE Have basic knowledge of the design process Are proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and WordDepending on the field you studied and your skills, you can acquire/deepen your knowledge from one of the departments:
• 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: ship general arrangement, all naval architecture calculation and structural FEM analysis.
• 𝗣𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘆: piping 3D modelling using AVEVA Marine, installation drawings, piping isometric drawings and material list.
• 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 & 𝗛𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: architectural outfitting and hull outfitting 3D modelling using AVEVA Marine, workshop and installation drawings, material list.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗖𝗘:
• Internship contract for 3 months, with a program of 8 hours per day
